March Favorites

As I have entered my 30’s skincare has become a huge priority for me. One of the most important steps in a skincare routine is sunscreen, which quite frankly makes me cringe. One more step and one more layer before I put on makeup is just not it for me. When I discovered that Fenty Skin had a moisturizer with sunscreen in it I was sold. Once I started to do a little bit of research there was more that sold me than the fact that there was sunscreen in this moisturizer and the lavender bottle is divine. With this moisturizer, you purchase an insert with the product when you run out so there is a little less waste with the packaging. Genius. After a month of use, it has been added to my holy grail list for sure.

Have you had those moments where you walk into a store, take a squirt of their hand sanitizer, and you are suddenly back in college? You are standing in front of a giant orange Gatorade container full of mysterious liquid. The smell… always the smell. What if I told you that you could be transported to the playground with your favorite Pez container instead? Enter Bath and Body Works Lemon and Sunshine hand sanitizer. Pure Pez scent and I promise you it does not disappoint. Plus you won’t gag every time you use it. Major bonus.

I needed a clean, modern way to organize my everyday jewelry and I stumbled upon this organizer one day while scrolling. It has a great weight to it as the bottom has a heavy ceramic feel. It does not clutter the top of my dresser either which makes my heart happy. Clean lines with all my main pieces right there to grab and go. Chef’s kiss.

Over the past couple of years, I have been on a reusable straw journey. That may sound dramatic, but I finally found my one true love when it comes to reusable straws. Metal and silicone are not for me. They work, but there is no way to see if the inside of the straw is actually clean. Oof. When you are drinking smoothies, iced coffee, and diet coke with these straws it is super important they become squeaky clean and that is where the glass straws shine for me.

Macrame plant hangers in our windows just bring me so much joy. I snagged a set of three and they have been one of my favorite window accessories for a while now. I can pop any plant inside them and the little green friend lives a happy little life right in the window. I often don’t have a window sill wide enough for my pots, so these hangers really do the trick.

I am officially on a rotation of washing my hair once or twice a week. My two essential root products for making washes last longer are dry shampoo and volumizing spray. A lot of times dry shampoo will do the work, but in order to make my hair not *insanely limp* I throw around some volumizing spray as well. Kenra hairsprays are what I always come back to in the end. Their volumizing hairspray and this dry volume burst are my favorites!

Burt’s Bees pajamas. We were gifted some Burt’s Bees jams when we were expecting Emmett as well as after he was born and we love them. With grips on the feet and the cutest patterns I ever did see, they are a must when I am looking for special holiday pj’s or anything adorable for my boy to snooze in at night.

Let us talk about Spring nail polish colors. I am a dark color lover for life, but I do have a few spring favorites that are SURE to bring a little happiness to your fingertips. In OPI’s most recent collections I have four main loves. From last year’s Spring line Mexico City my top two are Mexico City Move-Mint and Hue is the Artist? From this Spring’s line, my two favorites are BY FAR Movie Buff and Oh, You Sing, Act, Dance and Produce? I have so many other Spring favorites, but those are definitely my front runners of the past two Spring releases from OPI.

I recently picked up a new tool for cleaning up my polish mistakes when I am doing my manicures at home. For about six dollars this tool is a total winner. The brush is the perfect amount of stiff and flexible. It also has a dotting tool at the other end for some nail art if that is your style. A tiny brush for cleanup is the KEY to a professional-looking mani!

My last favorite is one I could SCREAM about from the rooftops. If I were to super indulge at Starbucks I am a Caramel Macchiato gal through and through. Unfortunately, that amount of sugar doesn’t work for me anymore. I have been on the stevia train for a while and about lost it when a follower pointed me in the direction of Jordan’s Skinny Syrups. I swear by their caramel and Jordan loves the mocha. We put it in iced coffee and hot coffee. With no sugar and all the flavor, it makes my heart sing all the caramel macchiato songs without loads of sugar. DREAMY.

Happy Spring my sweet friends! I hope that some of these favorites can get added to your list of loves too!
